Some personal high points from the last few days:
*A tragic yet hope filled story from a woman whom Mac handed the microphone to- her husband and baby had been killed when their home exploded a year or so ago. Along with her 6 year old daughter, she miraculously escaped. She testified how Third Day's music had given her hope and helped her rebuild her life since the tragedy.
*Watching Bono launch Product Red on the Oprah Winfrey show.
*Seeing how much the guys in the band love the Ricky Gervais show 'Extras' which I brought over on DVD from the UK.
* A 5 iron shot from the rough to within 4 feet of the hole, and a utility club from 220 yards from the fairway to within 10 feet of the hole.
* Catching up with old friend Rusty Pawlowski-we're driving to Indianapolis tonight and onto Fort Wayne tomorrow.
*Some good devotional times with the boys- you can see the passages we've been studying alongside this blog entry.
Wow. I love the title of this post. It is so true and yet so often we miss out on that truth. Thanks for sharing these highlights. One of the things I love the most about service is that it gives you new perspective. I get a lot of new perspective from YOUR service. You are really all over the globe for Christ and I admire that.
