It's been good to catch up loads of friends over the last few days. Meghan Britton, who interned with Ignite a few years ago, came along to the Fort Wayne concert with her boyfriend Matt. Here's a picture of them with David Carr from Third Day in the middle.
Then Rusty Pawlowski came to the show in Evansville and we drove back afterwards to his parents house in Indianapolis. On the way he introduced me to COKE BLAK- a new drink mixing Coke with Coffee. Don't try it! Next morning I caught up with his wife Lara and their boys Noah and Gabe.
Russ very kindly then drove me to Fort Wayne where our first rendezvous was for lunch and golf with Andy Booth. Fortunately, Russ and Andy were still smiling after I'd won.
I'm staying with Andy and Trish- some of my favourite people, and this afternoon spent some time with some more of my favourite people Matthew and Jaimee Wilkinson. Matthew's a faithful reader of this blog and we have some stimulating email correspondance- thanks Matt! Their oldest daughter Rae was at school, but here they are with Isla and Leo. Big thanks to Jaimee for the gift of chocolate- she knows my weakness!
