I've been at this conference for the last few days, it's organised by Carl Brettle and I'm helping host it and doing some speaking. Pastor Prasad is over from India as well, so he's staying with us and coming to the conference sessions. Here are a few random things I've learned:
*Prayer may not be our first passion but it should be our first discipline.
*We can let our nation set the destiny of the church or we can determine that the church will set the destiny of our nation.
*The Bible tells us, but we need to experience it to believe it, that when we draw near to God He draws near to us.
*When you deal with humanities basic needs you will always be wanted.
*The God who is always everywhere is sometimes somewhere.
