Not having written for a while I want to talk about two sets of relationships that have been extremely fulfilling for Gill and I. The first news is that we are Grandparents again! Rachel and Chris welcomed baby Joseph into the world last Sunday. Gill and I absolutely love being Grandparents and we have enjoyed Hannah's overnight stays with us immensely over the last few months. We find grand-parenting so much easier and less stressful than being parents! Here is a picture of a proud Grandmother with both of her grandchildren, and a new born Joseph:
Over the last couple of weeks we have had Pastor Prasad from Rajahmundry staying with us. He came to visit IgniteHope and to catch up with all the people, churches and schools that have been supporting his work with Gateway Ministry, Gateway School, Ignite India churches, and the leprosy village. Gill and I really think of Prasad and his family as our own, and we've had such a thrilling journey of faith and discipleship with him since we met in 2005. At present he's been fundraising for a new level for the school which will add an extra 6 classes- for the 100 new pupils starting in 3 weeks time! We had an exhausting but fruitful time with Prasad, finishing off with him and I spending a day sightseeing in London-including a trip to Lord's cricket ground. Here's a picture of him at Hawthorn School in Llandaff, Cardiff at a fundraising tea party for Gateway School:
